  • регулярно перевіряти партнерів та організаторів, яким надається доступ до продуктів, на наявність чинної української ліцензії.

As part of our online monitoring efforts, we continue to identify cases where websites and mobile applications of illegal casinos provide access to games and technological solutions developed by well-known international companies. In practice, this enables illegal gambling businesses to continue operating unlawfully in the Ukrainian market.

For this reason, PlayCity has reached out to major international providers of iGaming content and technology, asking them to stop cooperating with gambling operators that operate in Ukraine without a valid licence.

What We Expect from B2B Companies

In particular, PlayCity has called on international developers and providers to:

  • stop supplying iGaming content and technological solutions to businesses operating in Ukraine without a licence;
  • restrict access to their products from Ukraine for illegal websites, applications, platforms, and aggregators;
  • regularly verify whether their partners and operators using their products hold a valid Ukrainian gambling licence.

Information on licensed gambling operators is available in the relevant official register. PlayCity also included data from the register in its communication to international companies.

Why This Matters

Illegal gambling businesses rely on more than just their own websites and advertising. To operate, they also need internationally recognised games, software, and technological infrastructure.

Therefore, efforts to combat the illegal gambling market should also include stopping cooperation between illegal operators and international technology companies.

The goal is to deprive illegal gambling businesses of the tools that enable them to operate in the Ukrainian market.
